Marin County is full of stunning, diverse backdrops that can completely transform your session. If you’re dreaming of iconic views, Point Cavallo offers incredible Golden Gate Bridge shots with beautiful light and easy access. For wide open space and breathtaking views of Mount Tam, the top of Gilmartin Drive in Tiburon is one of my favorite hidden gems—especially magical at golden hour.

If the beach is calling, Muir Beach, Stinson, and Rodeo Beach all offer that rugged Northern California coastline perfect for everything from romantic maternity portraits to playful family sessions. These beach locations are versatile and often less crowded than other popular spots.

Looking for something charming and coastal? The Sausalito waterfront and docks provide a unique blend of nautical textures, open skies, and soft light—ideal for headshots, branding, or lifestyle sessions. For a touch of seasonal color, Paradise Park in Tiburon is a beautiful park-like setting that shines in the fall with its vibrant foliage, but is lovely year-round for family or child portraits.
